Day 1: He created the light and the darkness. He separated them both by naming them day and night.
Day 2: He created the sky and the waters. He separated them by putting space in between so that there would by a sky, and there would be seas below on the earth.
Day 3: He created the land, sea, and vegetation. He separated the waters on earth so that there was dry land. So there was now land, and the seas. Then He commanded vegetation of all kind to sprout from the dry land.
Day 4: He created the sun, moon, and stars. With the creation of the sun and moon, He created the seasons.
Day 5: He created all birds and fish, to fill the seas and the skies. He then blessed them and commanded them to be fruitful and multiply.
Day 6: He created animals, and humankind. He made every animal on the earth. But when He was finished, He said "Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us..." Gen 1:26 He made the male first, and then the female. He told the animals and the male and female to use all the vegetation and fruit as food, and to multiply.
He looked at everything and saw that is was good. Gen 1:31
